Whether its anxiety triggered by terrorist attacks that affect a nation, anger over company layoffs, sorrow over the death of a co-worker, or fear triggered by a violent outburst from an employee, emotions can be overwhelming in the wake of a traumatic event. RMC can help employees get back on track through Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD).
Critical Incident Stress Debriefing
CISD is on-site counseling to help people express and manage potentially debilitating emotions caused by a traumatic incident. The impact of a crisis is most profound on the immediate circle of witnesses or victims, but it can send out ripples that can rock an entire organization. Employee productivity, morale and loyalty often suffer unless emotions stemming from a crisis are recognized and addressed.

“RMC’s Critical Incident Stress Debriefings helped our employees deal with the loss of three employees in one year. I received lots of positive feedback from employees who appreciated the support and the opportunity to express their grief.”
